Network Reading Group (NRG) Details:

The goal is to promote continued learning and awareness of computer networking topics that may or may not be in your direct line of research.

Stance ------
This a fairly informal reading group. Attendance is not required, and you can be on the mailing list even if you know it will be difficult or impossible to attend the meetings. Of course, we encourage as many of you as possible to attend the meeting and contribute to the list, as it makes for a better discussion.

Focus -----
The focus of this reading group is networking. While there are many other areas that are of interest outside of networking, the topics discussed in this reading group will be focused on networking.

Guidelines -----

  1. Make an honest effort to read the paper.
  2. "Forgetting" to read the paper is NOT your ticket out of a meeting. If you are able to attend, please do so. You may be surprised at what you still gain from attending.
  3. Please do more than blink at a meeting, express your opinions/views of the topic at hand.
  4. These are discussions and not tutorials or lectures of a paper. We promote open discussion to clarify any questions and present each others opinions on the paper.
  5. There may occasionally be guest presentations or other "special events".

Calendar -----
Calendar is supported for now via Google Calendar. (Subscribe)
